Using Data to Support Workforce Development

The Governor’s Workforce Cabinet (GWC) was formed in 2018 in Indiana. Its mission is to address current and future education and employment needs for individuals and employers, strengthen the state's economy by integrating and aligning state and federal resources, and ensure a talent-driven education and workforce system.

Our project with the Govenor’s Workforce Cabinet involved developing comprehensive regional databases and generating detailed reports to support and enhance state strategy, workforce development initiatives, and informed decision-making processes. We have focused on generating reports that detail the state of each economic growth region in Indiana. From these reports, we can pull the necessary data to help support and track the GWC’s strategic objectives.
