Christian Theological Seminary (CTS), located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is renowned for its Faith and Action Project, which unites community and faith leaders to foster meaningful change. For the Fall Conference, CTS aimed to tackle the critical issue of homelessness in Indianapolis. Bridge Builder Strategies was engaged to provide a comprehensive analysis of homelessness data to inform conference discussions and future initiatives.
Our project began with an extensive data collection process, focusing on eviction rates, cost of living, average rent, homelessness demographics, shelter availability, and transitional housing. Additionally, we conducted a survey with community organizations to uncover best practices and key challenges. This data was meticulously analyzed to identify trends, correlations, and key insights.
The deliverables for this project included a detailed pre-read document to prepare conference attendees, a comprehensive final report summarizing all data analysis and recommendations, a presentation of our survey data at the conference, and an infographic highlighting the most significant data points. These materials provided CTS with a robust foundation of data and insights, facilitating informed discussions and helping to drive future initiatives aimed at addressing homelessness in Indianapolis.
Overall, our project for the Faith and Action Fall Conference equipped CTS with the necessary tools to foster meaningful dialogue and action, reinforcing their commitment to creating positive change in the community.
