Finding a Trusted Partner for Strategic Growth

The Fund for Hoosier Excellence (FHE) was established in 1983 by Senator Richard G. Lugar. The intent of FHE and the Senator Lugar Scholarship is to keep our best and brightest minority students in the State of Indiana for college.

As the 40th anniversary approached, the FHE board of directors sought to establish a permanent partner to run the day-to-day activities. Bridge Builder Strategies was approached as a partner to find an existing organization that would align with FHE’s needs:

With these needs in mind, Bridge Builder Strategies proposed and executed a strategic plan that researched and identified organizations to partner with FHE. Based on the established decision criteria, eight organizations are currently being interviewed to be FHE’s final partner.
